The Lasers had a great time participating in the 4th of July parade in the Village on Friday.  As usual, our "float" was creative and clever, and our marching unit dedicated if somewhat loosely organized.  The wheeled recyling bins were a big hit with the crowd!  In an unusual departure from the norm, we won first place (YES!) in the motorized floats division, beating out the wooden Whale with our flag made of all recycled materials.  The t-shirts and posters all looked great and the magnets were well-received by the crowd.  Watch for photos to be posted soon!  Please thank LuAnn Cravath for her hard work in planning and putting our entry together and her family for doing the majority of the construction work.

Picture page has been updated with links for All-Comers, Olney Mill and Quail Valley meets as well as June 26th Lasermania.

The Lasers swam well against Quail Valley on Tuesday night!  We have so many good swimmers in our younger age groups and we even had our first pre-team graduate of the season make her B meet debut.  Swimmers' times continue to improve and the goal time charts reflect everyone's hard work.  Have you set your goal for the season?  If not, take a look at the chart and do it!
the Darnestown Demons delivered a drubbing today, defeating us decidedly 444-347.  What could have been a much closer meet turned out worse than we thought, but all the Lasers who did come to swim gave it their best shot and we appreciate those who managed to squeeze the meet in around their other activities.
LASERMANIA has struck!  See below for the scores from Friday's competition!
Thanks to all those who attended the parent meeting.  One more recap -  on financial information - is still to come; be patient!
Our calendar for the 2009 season is available by clicking on the calendar link at left.  All meets we are planning to compete in are now listed.
The team clothing page has been updated with our 2009 items.  Click on the link at left to check them out!  We will have items for sale at practice most days and at meets, or you can contact Grace Kopp.
Photo pages have photos from past meets and Lasermania events.  Picture copies can be ordered directly from Kodak EasyShare Gallery.
Please read the team handbook, which is available online by clicking the link at left that says "Handbook."  It's not long; you can read it in about 10 minutes.  You may find that many of your questions are addressed there, and it would definitely be helpful to you to download a copy.
