Make sure you are looking at the current qualifying times when setting your
summer swim goals!
All-Star Qualifying Times are set
by the MCSL at the beginning of each season. These are times a swimmer
must meet in order to be considered eligible for the All-Star Individuals meet
at the end of the season. Achieving a qualifying time does not necessarily
mean a swimmer will make it into the meet. The top 16 swimmers, plus two
alternates, in each event will be invited to All-Star individuals. Because
many swimmers achieve more than one All-Star time and there is a limit to how
many events they can swim, someone who is ranked lower than 16th will often make
it into the meet. The swimmers here have all achieved a qualifying
time, and if it is a personal best, the new time is indicated.
